Rye Century Walks: 1623 First Settlement

Join us for a leisurely 2 mile walk to explore the origins of Rye. In 1623 David Thompson first set foot on this rocky coastline. The First Settlers Monument reminds us and takes us back to those days. We will walk the area together and touch upon the local Indigenous communities, their culture at the time of contact, and what Thompson may have encountered.

Best suited for ages 12 and up. All children under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
